Murgo (Etna)

The grapes is different from what grown on the rest of the island. Even if some French grapes thrive here in the more temperate climate, most wine is made of native grapes.

The typical grapes grown on Etna are: For red wine Nerello Mascalese and Nerello Mantellato. For white wine Caricante.
