The Sicilian town Vittoria, located in the southern part of Sicily and a lot of wine is produced there. The DOC is called Cerasuolo di Vittoria and Nero d'Avola is the main blue grape. On of the better producers is Romolo Buccellato. That's his cantina you are visiting now. It's the days before the harvest and the last bottles of the last vintage is tapped and the huge vats are prepared for the harvest of year 2000.
